After the Blair Adjustment

Post-adjustment care instructions specific to the Blair technique.

What to Expect After Your Blair Adjustment

Every person responds to a Blair upper cervical adjustment differently — and that's completely normal. You might notice one or more of the following right after your adjustment:

  • A boost in energy
  • Fatigue or a strong desire to sleep
  • Relief from symptoms you've been dealing with
  • New areas of discomfort that weren't there before

All of these responses are normal and expected parts of the process.

What Healing Looks Like Over Time

Your care program will have its ups and downs. Knowing what to expect ahead of time can help you stay the course.

The good days: You'll have great days, weeks, and even months where you feel significant improvement. Some adjustments may bring relief that feels almost immediate.

The harder days: Other stretches will feel like a struggle. Occasionally an adjustment may seem like nothing changed — or you might notice temporary discomfort in a new area.

Both experiences are a normal part of the healing process. Progress is rarely a straight line.

A Few Things to Keep in Mind

  • Healing takes time. Your body didn't get to where it is overnight, and recovery works the same way.
  • Talk to us. If you have questions or concerns at any point — about how you're feeling, what you're experiencing, or what to expect next — please bring them up. We want to hear from you.
  • We're here for you and your family. Our goal is to provide upper cervical chiropractic care with passion and integrity, so you can reach your full health potential.
